THE SPRINNG LITERARY MOVEMENT OFFERS MENTORSHIP OPPORTUNITY TO ERIATA ORIBHABOR POETRY PRIZE APPLICANTS

Did you enter for the Eriata Oribhabor Poetry Prize (EOPP) 2018? If yes, then you are eligible for THE SPRING LITERARY programme, a to improve your writing.

Whether or not you obtained a spot in the finalist positions, this good news is for you!The Sprinng Literary Movement mentorship programme is an opportunity for you to gain tips to develop your creative writing skills in the genre of your choice.

The 2019 mentorship programme will be proceeding with the support of 36 top contemporary award-winning Nigerian authors including Tolu Akinyemi, the author of Your Father Walks Like a Crab, and Tomi Adesina, an AMVCA nominee for the Best Writer Award in 2018 who also bagged the AMAA award for Best Screenplay for her contribution to Hakkunde. Other mentors include Seye Kuyinu, Iyanu Adebiyi, Sarah Aluko, Seun Lari Williams, Emmanuel Jolayemi a.k.a. Kormbat, Servio Gbadamosi, Lawretta Egba and more.

The best part of the 2019 Mentorship Programme is that the mentorship duration has been extended with more exciting activities such as contests for mentees with winning prizes including book vouchers to shop at bookstores and cash. And that isn’t all; the mentorship has been expanded to include more genres. We have mentors for Poetry, Fiction, Blogging, Book Reviewing, and Essay Writing.

The application deadline is April 15, 2019, and you don’t want to miss it. The online and word-document application can be accessed through the SLM website. Applications for this year are more user-friendly; including details of exactly what we are searching for.
