I dwell in a garden, so green
With colourful roses
In full bloom
Oh! These weeds!
They grow thick and thick
Till I weed them off
My path will be hindered
But what kind of a man
Uproots weeds at dusk?

It’s a brand new day
A rainy day I foresee
These annoying weeds
Would grow thicker into a bush
A hoe in one hand
A cutlass at the other end
But this thought in my head
What kind of a man
Weeds off bush in the rain?

What a day
I anticipated a heavy rain
But the sun takes its place
Now the bush occupies my space
But what kind of a man
Clears off bush under a scorching sun

It’s a clouded night
My vision is blurred
As the stars dangle in the Evening sky
With no cutlass nor hoe in sight
Just thick forest in and out
Hisses, buzzes and roars
Approaching from a close distance
But what kind of a man am I?
