I am Valen.
Your debauchery
Is my burden;
I’m ill, forbidden
Of recovery.

My deathbed’s golden.
No meds or Steve Harvey,
Nor trick or wit embolden’d
Would defer grief’s journey.

I am Valen, thine.
And while your lust adheres,
I shall wine and dine
On a harvest of tears.

I am Valen. Mine
Brine is surely thine.
Yet as stars are earthed
Their shine remains ever sainted.

*To Valentine’s Day and Goldie Harvey’s demise.
