This is one poem selected from Nwilo Bura-Bari Vincent “Salute to Bori” just published.
We weave mat
While their men weave war songs
We weave mat
When they weave pains with gongs
We weave mat
To pay a bill
While they hang us with no will
We weave mat
They go mad
This poem was selected from Nwilo Bura-Bari Vincent’s just published anthology “Salute to Bori”.
