WATER IS ASLEEP
Down the deserted street The sun is overhead The tongue is dehydrated The throat can't swallow The intestine under furnace Hoping to find an oasis There's need for a quench. Oh! There is a tap Oops! It's dusty and rusted It has degenerated in idleness It sounds like a wilderness A rain drop is what is needed But it seems to be on a journey. The feet can't bear anymore The solid ground is now hell No distance can be covered No help can be received It’s payback time for our actions It’s time for retribution Water is asleep!
THE CLOUDS ARE ABSENT
Months already The soil is tilled Seeds are planted They await the clouds. The cattle are up the hill The sheep is on the farm They have stopped grazing They need dehydration They want digestion They await the clouds. Tired of crying and praying Fowls have become dumb Dogs are now bony Dust is tick and fleshy They hope for some drops Yet, nowhere to be found They await the clouds. Heads towards heaven No clouds in the sky Death is somewhere resting The torment is everlasting All hopes are gone The clouds are absent!
PAYBACK
Anger Grudge Revenge The sea is boiling The ocean is bubbling They have suffered enough From industrial waste From Man's excrements Bottles everywhere Stop! Stop! Stop! The sea cries out The ocean shouts Here we come! Flood! Inundation! Disaster! Droughts! No movement anymore Everyone indoors Noah is no more The sea and the ocean All majestically return In happiness and laughter Our misdeed is paid back
