THIRD WORLD WAR by Gideon Abowha

Read Time:1 Minute, 1 Second

*Third World War*

_Guun!_ _Guun!_ _Guun!_
_Lash!_ _Lash!_ _Lash!_
Children cry
Militias smile
Paying price
Human flesh torn; lost souls
Helter skelter we went.

_Whuuh!_ _Whuuh!_ _Yeeh!_ _Yeeh!_
Women screamed loudly
Wrappers flew off skirts
World revolve in perplexity
All seems like a complexity.
Men cowardly pointing tommy guns
We; sweating and shivering
For hell on earth kingdom come.
Human flesh torn; lost souls
Helter skelter we went.

A step leads another anguish
All caged terribly in languish
Peace vanished within
Escapes blocked; danger between.
Military armor tanks everywhere
A single civilian; not anywhere.
A straight hit; _Paah!_ _Paah!_
Tore many heads to pieces
Human lion hungrily roared
Four corners; all surrounded by sieges
_Feuw!_ _Feuw!_ Arrows from bow
Human flesh torn; lost souls
Helter skelter we went.

Pistol auras around town
People buried alive; all in the same town
People going paradise alive
Tough commands! Acting anyhow like.
Packed and bundled
Away in the river
No single hope! No believer.
Human flesh torn; lost souls
Helter skelter we went.

All seems never ending
For its a war never to be fought.
Warm in my cozy bed! Rolling all over!
For I; strangely opened my eyes wide
And I realized; all was a dream.
