A graceful lass
the joy of her dad
the ecstasy of her mom
with a future bright as the morning sun
The lingering hope of the Kimani tribe
All hopes so high
Expectations to her shoulders tied
It was all coming true
faces lit which were once blue
But, all of a sudden…
.
.
.
….it was one fateful morn
she went, never to return
it is whispered among the Kimani people
that if you stayed up late into the night
you would see a figure climbing the mountains so steep
it is believed she has gone to study among the gods
and that one day she would return
and so, days have rolled into months
and months into years
but the Kimani people still believe
and pass on the tale to generations
To this day, the Kimani people still wait
But some say she is the story that never happened!
