These tears i shed in droplets of words,
upon the parchment of my heart,
for the maimed glory of Humanity’s death.
This sweats that trickled down my parched body,
crimson coloured and gathered
in rivulets of a streaming red-wine-looking liquid
and running down the waterfall of Humanity’s hope.
This helpless fear that blossoms in my heart,
choking out the breath of optimism,
and beclouding peace’s sight,
hence leaving us to flounder in this murk, in what is left of Humanity.
This silence that watched while Humanity took a beating
from the malignant hands of corruption’s goons,
as its fear-ridden sadness
washed away the remains of Humanity.
Humanity lies in the backyard, withering
Who shall set him free?
Who shall feed him again?
When shall Humanity be saved?
Immersed in this questions
that arose a turbulence of restlessness
within the calm facade of reality,
I watched Humanity gently fade into oblivion.
