My thoughts conjure up these verses.
I beheld its beauty as it passes.
Beautiful lines carved into my face,
Scribbled inklessly on the air,
Fleeting past, before my face.
Ah, they escape as I try to keep them there!
Gone before I could summon my pen!
I willed them back but away it is gone.
Vanished, like it was never there!
And again I rise from my chair
To glance with unseeing eyes,
Mourning another lost poem,
Once penned inklessly… on this air!
