The ultimate end the rich and poor have in common nobody desires
Some through life’s sojourn may merit it
a commodity that must be purchased
a debt that must be paid
never a bad debt
‘Cept a catching caught up
The eventual eventuality
maybe temporarily averted
only delayed never denied
The inevitable announced at cradle
and an unannounced arrival
signals a departure
of old and young
sick and healthy
Expectant Earth receives expedient awards of epitaphs
the academy of preserved potentials
an orchestra of soulful soliloquies,
monologues, dialogues and tributes
from living witnesses, rendered
in bewildered watch of faithful fate
laying wreaths on peaceful sepulchres
O’ Death! The inevitable that must be
at the expiration of a life span
long or short!
The inevitable eventuality
The beginning of eternity!
