Read Time:51 Second
A poet without words, lost in his own world
Lonely, without company nor thoughts
His mind, a cemetery bare of words
Crumpled papers
Ink baked, dried and caked
Circles and uneven lines: a picture of a barren mind
Saxophones and smooth guitar strings
A curtained world, serene and quiet
A thousand candles, a search for the lost muse
All this and more, for the fingers to again dance in glee
Again dusk has caught this table bare
For all the beauty the eyes have seen, the mind yet births no ideas
For all the sorrows, pains and sadness, the pen bleeds no tears
This land lies famished and scorched
O! When shall the rain fall, when shall the muse visit again.
