Look into the day
In its brevity lies the realities of existence
For whom his light dims
Knows not what becomes of its rays
Life: A survival
Death: We are like candles in its winds
Behold its gripping, cold claws
Piercing and mocking man’s existential flaws
Humanity: Slave to its whims and caprices
Alas! Its coldness echoes into our ears:
“Yesterday was just a chance;
Today, a conquest for tomorrow
And tomorrow, a slate of uncertainties.”
Seize the day!
