The red suns of the desert
they rose among the belligerent clouds
like gales of wind
roaring through castle of sand
tearing through the heart of Sambisa
their windy steps rode gustily
on caravan of times.
They have the toes of the cactus
piercing the flesh of the earth.
We have seen flame of arson drench our eyes
we have seen flame of love choke our hearts.
Against. Against . Again, again.
The epistle of love
the letters of hate
for a westering sun
coursing through the planet of our minds.
Emotional parasites littered
for the death of the dead.
Canticles of lachrymose are sung
when horror comes upon
filming eyes of the innocent,
suras of dirge
form colony in our hymnal love.
I have seen the sun’s back
I have seen the earth’s inside,
I have seen a moon
commit suicide at the break of a day.
