SOLACE IN WISE COUNSEL by Maxwell Onyemaechi Opia-Enwemuche

Read Time:30 Second
conscience is an open wound
only truth can heal it.
lies are likened to eggs
too fragile they can break up with the truth one day.
stay focused on the truth
and true love will find you.
be sincere to yourself without reserve
and your emotion will have no other master
fight on even as you persevere
and you’ll become a grand commander.
take solace in wise counsel
pursue peace without prejudice
and speak the truth without remorse
then shall your heart beat be free of evil
and your conscience becomes clear as a gently flowing stream
