Read Time:38 Second
She wants not a rose – my heart she does crave
I hold her hand, she wants to reach beyond
As we lock hands to see the ocean’s wave
She stares and charms me – her gray eyes, the wand
I give a conch pearl, bought with all I’ve saved
She fakes a smile as well, as gratitude
She hears my heartbeat and she wants it slaved
Rejecting my gifts is her attitude
Lovers sitting under the open sky
Dusk arrives, its majestic queen glowing
Beneath my breast she thrusts her claws, deep, sly
Right in her hand I see my heart slowing
