With my eyes wide open
I saw a turbulent sea
Hippopo from the river
Violates the precept,
Scuffle the sea.
I saw the tears of fishes
Sharks wail for help
Whales grimace
But why?
Inconsequential of the crocodile?
Inept of the elephant?
Like an epidemic
Hippopo scales the tide
Swam to the bank
Awaited the rescue of the elephant
Does the sea deserve it’s fate?
You know what tomorrow holds?
Till tomorrow, this is what my pen holds for all.
