RAINBOW (by Owoicho Apochi Nelson)

Call me old school
But I really love rainbows
Covenant Reminder
Periodic appearance
Who can ignore its splendour?
Who can understand its make up?
But now I see rainbow
Not in the far skies
You are the rainbow!
Though my periodic rainbow
Never fades
I fear you would wash
With drib of sweat
I imagine what hides behind the sham
What you hide amongst
Multitude of colours
What is the “Makeup” of your soul?
What lies within your lies?
I loved the rainbowless skies
Beautiful without the colourful
Rise
I know you no longer
You are but ties
Of all you see
Rainbow
