Sometimes I’m envious when I look at the little ones
Thinking of old mistakes I was told to avoid
But deep down I know, what’s done is done
No going back…deeds once done, no one can void
Still, I smile and think to myself:
I’m young; I can yet rectify mistakes made
Sort out the mess on my life’s shelf
A lesson learned… a wondrous cascade
