Words are in lakhs;
Why can’t we prepare
Poems with a new taste?
With only cement blocks
We construct many halls!
Themes are in crores
Why can’t we construct
Poems on new subjects?
With only cotton threads
We weave different cloths!
Methods are numerous
Why can’t we weave
Poems in our own methods?
I may lead this life
Without cloth and home!
I can live alone
But I can’t lead my life
Without writing the poem!
