Read Time:45 Second
Samson Kukogho, your pen tears me like a dagger,
And your verses cascade before me like a waterfall.
Your rhymes put me in a fit of ecstasy,
And your lines leave me in momentary fantasy.
Pour me your libation,
Feed me your thoughts,
Lend me your sight,
For I want to walk your path,
The path of the gods,
Where raw words, sore,
Abound like the locust invasion!
Kukogho Iruesiri Samson!
Continue in this path,
Sustain your passion,
Strive high and pour your mind
On the wall of the sky.
As for me, I stoop to lick the drops of your wit;
To bathe in the sweet dew of your words, sweet;
And drink from the fountain of your pen,
So that one day, I shall sit on Sages’ wing with you!
