Kester’s Air Force Dream

Kester had his eyes on bustly Lagos,
His dream it was to join the Air Force.

Said a friend, “If you join the Air Force
Make sure you don’t act with FORCE.”
Aye says Kester, “The Air Force would keep me focused
And save me from being lost in society’s blinding dust.”

Someone said, “The Air Force is no place for any Tom, Dick or Harry!
Kester, I hope the heavy cross you’re ready to carry?”

He replied, “I ain’t no Tom, Dick and Harry
Though I once had people call me Larry.”

“Kester, Unbridled pride doth leads to destruction”,
Someone said, “So ensure you avoid its humiliation.”

An angry Kestor looked at them, asniggering
And said as he walked away aswaggering,
“Sometimes plain Humility
Is mistaken by feeble minds to be inability.”

So Kester went to walk the streets of Lagos
But none knows if he joined the Air Force!
