Deep within man’s shell lays free will;
Infant at birth and childhood, still
Feeble like the legs of an aged sage,
It’s jailed, subdued for a future stage.
Then, your mind, new to good and bad,
Sought Sophia solely from mom and dad,
Who seemed to know about everything
And admonished daily to groom your being.
Now, though they still thread the earth,
And yearly celebrate your birth,
The once taut tether is now loose.
O man, it’s now your turn to choose!
Go wild, be free and naughty,
Have friends, to others be haughty,
Party hard, gulp gallons of booze!
O man, it’s yours to choose!
Lead a simple life with goals
Strive to help indigent souls
Believe that you’ll never lose.
O man, it’s yours to choose!
Lavish money and visit brothels
Flaunt Papa’s wealth to attract girls,
Live the same way as fabled fools
O man, it’s yours to choose!
Do the right thing at the right time
Never dip your fingers into crime
Stay chaste like the Muse
O man, it’s yours to choose!
The freedom given you to live and explore
Is same that leads to Mr. Death’s door;
Misbehave and things will fall apart!
O man, you have to play your part!
