I look around the slums,
And wonder if we all
Shall not soon become bums,
As they push us to the wall?
To us, happiness is a novelty!
In our world, men are not equal;
They beset us with cruelty,
And laugh while we squall.
We can only imagine….
A country of honest politics,
Where leaders are not ticks
Where all honor their name
And play not the ‘dirty game’.
Imagine
That all is done in equality,
Nigeria has constant electricity,
And we don’t shout ‘Up NEPA’
Only to minutes later say ‘Yepa!’
Yes, imagine,
The youth gainfully engaged
And no one is enraged
Christian and Muslim at peace;
How can anything be amiss?
Imagine,
Just imagine…
