Born of woman
Bred and nurtured with wit
Enveloped in nature’s thickest cloth
I’m called the chameleon
For my ace is beyond description

On steady bone I stand to walk
Like a foal in its new stable
I’m called an ant
For my size denies my skill

I aim, I want all in my thought
In every season even in drought
Painted with the chalk of nature
I’m called a dove
For my beauty and delicate ways

Medley of wills, farrago of wishes
In the white world I shall not be famished
As in womb, also in tomb
But memories of me shall always remain
For I’m also of nature
A nutrient to her soil
