HUE (a poem by George Oge-Kalu Comfort)

Read Time:29 Second

She is seen as helpless and useless
It all forms part of her uniqueness
She is blindfolded with deep feelings
In desperate need of emotional healings
The last to see the light her true identity is Hidden.

She is not far but never near
Creative and different from the rest
An inspiration to many
Heart always fighting till the finish
A brave conqueror yet…
Her true abilities are Undermined.

The world made her the best version for herself
Even when she was seen as just a rare piece of china on her mother’s shelf
A jewel every home wants to be crowned with
Her value forever being Exclusive.
