Worries creep daily in my head,
And my soul is wary of what lies ahead…
It seems you’ve really filled your pockets
With enough to buy jets and rockets.
Yes, you must have found your lost shoe
But forgot that we all need one too!
First you made fuel a fortune for us to buy
With a promise that turned out to be a lie!
Then the Boko Haram began to evolve
A problem impossible for you to solve!
Since you’ve derailed from your vow
We have no choice but to stop you now.
We are tired of waiting, waiting in vain,
Hoping that our loss would one day bring gain.
Our hearts yearn for you to leave Aso Rock,
Haven brought us nothing but bad luck!
A man with a passion to lead is all we need,
Not one whose intentions are filled with greed.
How long shall we wait for the right one?
For it seems the good ones have all gone!
…Soon you’ll start posting your banners
Campaigning in all sorts of manner!
