Read Time:27 Second
Hope left the shores of the Niger
When in me I saw you as another
In same soil our fathers’ blood had sworn
The very oath of change they died to born
Weren’t they one, even in their poverty?
When corruption can’t stand the beauty
Of our then courageous craftsman’s skill
Or was it a curse or our today’s ill?
That our Nigeria had sailed
And left us to be bailed.
