From the glowing eyes of my son
I see tears of the crying sun
The glittering pity of the African child
I see the rust from the departed earth
That ingrained the adversity of a man
Poignant staggered in the ail of my heart
As age draw closer my grave
I shall fear not
Warriors are gone with the whisper
Of the sentry wind
Heroes have bitten the dust
Cowards are the living testimony
Of the rough sea of valliance
From the glowing eyes of my son
I see a double sword blade
Piercing through the marrows of sickening death
As poverty ravages my fields
I shall soar to new heights of peripheries
Of new understanding
From the depth of pardoned pain
I see a man, he willows his shadow
Away from the intricacy of the birth of his son
Mother died while giving birth
I shall cry no more.
