FRIENDSHIP by Awa Chigozie Jerome

Read Time:29 Second

Friendship

Pride has fangs
It can kill
Humility hangs
In there to heal

Trust is a bridge
You are either taken forward
In times of siege
Or into an emergency ward

Family is friendship
Totally undecided
Understanding gives the taste of comradeship
And keeps you undivided

A child who makes his mother
A friend
And listens to his father
Is ever difficult to bend

The mind is an experiment
Of decisions
Some may bring fort merriment
While others cling to fictions

The feet of men
Are zebra’s lines
Running in different tracks
In order to win
