Sometimes we feel like lost sheep seeking to be found
Sometimes we crave things and don’t get them
Sometimes we’re so embittered that we cry our eyes
Sometimes the noise in our spirit deafens us to His voice
Sometimes we get excited with possessions
Sometimes we let my pride grip the best part of us
Sometimes we boast that we got everything by ourselves
Sometimes we lack the wisdom to know He’s in charge
Sometimes love seems sweet and oftentimes it hurts
Sometimes we are betrayed and made preys to death
Sometimes we get so frustrated we give up
Sometimes we forget He passed the same road
Nothing we crave makes sense to anymore
Like frail slaves living in a rented world
We hatch tears and hide behind open windows
If only we could open our minds’ eyes and see….
Our frailties and mortality are nothing
But passing shadows
