Make your heart as hard as a stone?
Turn deaf ears to endless pleas?
“Forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us”
These lines you recite everyday
But forgiveness is difficult to give
And you look up to heaven for mercy
Perfection is not in Man
Mistakes, mortals are bound to make
This road leads to nowhere
Let it go
So you can have a better tomorrow
