In this land
long long have we lived
under the blazing sun
that burn our flesh black
squeeze out salty liquids
but never expose our bones
nor turned our body
into the cascade of blood
Here we live
with the voice of thunder
above our heads
explode
but never in fear
bolt
and leave our brothers
each to himself
In the farmlands
as we till the land
we sing
the rain descends
to wash down
our sweat
not the love and trust
we shared
But now in this land
daily
bones are stripped of
their garments
how we run
Sprinters
without any trophy
in mind
But
where-go-to
the love
and the trust
for how long
we would live here
in this land swimming
in the flood of blood?
