When the Sun sets on the West,
And all birds are faint in their nests;
The Cricket will announce itself
In cracked chirping notes
Bouncing off the walls, the stove, the shelf
-Like a lass on her sixteenth anniversary.
Indeed, Earth speaks Poetry that dims not!
Fireflies!
Like sands of shooting stars
Slice through the atmosphere.
The dominant grumbling
Of “I beta pass my neighbour”
Mutilates the night wrapped in silence as the fireflies
Ride on the night gale
Waving green lights in a language Earth understands!
Tiny gleams of tender loving light All about the valley of my mind Singing the symphonies to unite The cords of sweet grace and peace of mind Moving with the gentle winds to find The fireplace where passions ignite The flames of love, burning behind Tiny gleams of tender loving…
