Dry ocean waters flows past,
Rushing down the gate of meaningless nothing,
Washing down Happy City’s wall,
Planting gloom in its stead,
In happy ignorance, the land rejoices,
Yet, staggering at the weight of sadness
Dry waters penetrate Calm’s soil,
Poking dark fingers in its fertile bed,
Infecting it with mourning
Soon, it abducts Joy’s smile,
Pounding on Happiness’ home,
Strangling Peace
Happiness flees on exile,
Joy disintegrates into debris of doom,
Smile sails to tearful land,
Hiding behind cargoes of tears unshed,
The land bustles with sorrowful activities,
As Dry Ocean lets loose its dry waters.
