Has the cat got our tongues?
Do we have to punish our leaders
With cat-o’ nine-tails?
We voted them to the catbird seats,
They think they’re the cat’s pajamas,
Not at all!
They are the cat’s paws….
In the hands of godfathers.
They beset us with poverty,
Yet, act like the cat that got the cream.
Categorically! They’re a big shame,
Their failure is catastrophic
And our economy is in catalepsy,
They ain’t catalysts for genuine change.
Their ailing policies….
Catapulted our nation backwards,
There’s no cat-nap for them,
They have fallen….
Into the cataract of failure
We won’t wait
For the next cataclysm.
Will we? No!
O leaders!
Behold! Your steps,
Put on your thinking caps,
And take the nation out
From the catalog of poverty
O leaders!
Listen up!
The government shall catspraddle,
If you think this call is a catachresis.
