Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
Such was once a kid who lived around my neighbourhood,
he was loved by his parents, and all in the ‘hood’
Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
II.
In primary school while he pulled pig tails,
like a raging fire his grades blazed the trails
Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
III.
A vigilant lad he was in college,
working very hard surviving like a true Lagos boy, living on the edge
Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
IV.
He played the game with vigour,
made a name despite all the rigour
Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
V.
He wrote boldly on the sands of time,
He was known here, there and in every clime
Every man was once a Boboor,
the kid who moved to ceiling from the floor
*BOBO: a pet name for little boys
