I have often wondered
And even now I am bothered.
Why do some choose to walk naked?
And walk paths so crooked?
Why have people got it all twisted?
Like bats in daylight they are blinded
The ‘Golden Rule’ is now discarded
And neighborliness desecrated!
If all be taken away from me,
Please leave with me that delicate feeling,
The sense of shame and a heart full of love
And I’ll be just fine!
For he who has lost these,
Has lost it all!
