I love my Africa;
My home and my paradise
With the thick forests
In which the monkeys dance
See the striped zebra
With the meandering lines
Running on skin, through its blood
The eagle soars above
Looking over our golden home
Land of the black skinned gods
Owning sweet lazy waters
Women with diamond as eyes
Shining everywhere
The rain wets our soil,
And our soul rejoices, reaping blessings.
The sun comes to hunt
And we go tighten our bows
Ah, what a true mother you are
Mother to all that come
Africa is my home.
