ADDICTION by Cletus Nnaemeka

Read Time:32 Second

Passion overrides reasoning
After the fight, you just come out without winning
The mouth of guilt start screaming
The pains keep on deepening

Self-pity comes around knocking
Those voices come around mocking
The ideal being gets more locking
While temptations never stop lurking

No matter how far the race
It can’t be achieved without his grace
Forget about losing face
He is the judge and we’re the case

Little by little, we overcome
Bits by bits, comes our ideal form
Virtues become the norm
And we get to hit our victory drum
