We are pleased to invite all writers, artists, thinkers, and literary enthusiasts to attend the 6th edition of the annual Words Rhymes and Rhythm (WRR) Publishers’ literary festival — Feast of Words 2020. Holding Saturday 12th December 2020, this year’s edition is tagged ‘TOGETHER IN ISOLATION’ and will focus on how Nigerian creatives have adapted to life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In keeping with the current realities of the coronavirus pandemic, Feast of Words 2020 will hold virtually via the Zoom video-conferencing app. The festival will feature literary discourses, readings, performances, award presentations and a picnic at Oke-Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State.
As is our tradition, winners of the various editions of the bi-monthly Brigitte Poirson Poetry Contest (BPPC) 2020 will be recognised; the 2020 BPPC Anthology — A Pandemia of Poetry will be unveiled; and the winner of the 2020 Albert Jungers Poetry Prize (AJPP) will be announced.
The details of the festival are as follows:
- Date: SAT, DEC 12, 2020
- Time: 12 NOON

Borne and sustained by our desire to “connect writers, especially the young ones who are limited in their exposure and access to opportunities, in a fun atmosphere”, the FEAST OF WORDS has been one of Nigeria’s most anticipated literary festivals since 2015.
