ALBERT JUNGERS POETRY PRIZE 2019: OGEDENGBE, OLADIMEJI, EMMANUEL ON 3-MAN SHORTLIST

We are pleased to announce the 3-man shortlist of the 2019 edition of the annual Albert Jungers Poetry Prize (AJPP).

The shortlisted poets are Ogedengbe Tolulope Impact, Oladimeji Adam Adedayo and Emmanuel Faith. Together, these poets were finalists an impressive sixteen (16) times in the 2019 season of the contest.

Sponsored by WRR CEO Kukogho Iruesiri Samson, the AJPP is awarded to the best poem from the combined top 10 entries of the monthly Brigitte Poirson Poetry Contest (BPPC) from February to  September of each year.

A winner will be announced at the 2019 edition of the Words Rhymes & Rhythm Publishers annual Literary Festival – FEAST OF WORDS 2019, holding on Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at Ado Awaye Mountain & Suspended Lake, Ado-Awaya, Iseyin LGA, Oyo State.

The winner will be awarded N20,000 cash prize, a one-year 20% discount on all WRR Publishers services and a Certificate of Award. All the monthly BPPC top 10 finalists will receive a copy of the BPPC 2019 anthology, which will be unveiled at the Festival.

Past winners of the prize are Aire Joshua Omotayo (2018), Ogwiji Ehi- kowochio Blessing (2017) and Kanyinsola Olorunnisola (2016).
