Smiling To the Bank
A gracious day
Think it’s a Thursday
I went to the bank to make some withdrawal
And Right behind the counter I saw her
She’s the prettiest lady I’ve ever seen
Her beauty is like that of an Ocean
That inhabit the most amazing and colorful creature
Or like that of a rainbow that illustrate in colorful spectrum the beauty of Nature
And just as Nature radiate
beauty, wisdom and intelligence
so did she glow with brains, grace, and elegance.
And as I stood there gazing at her in awe
I got lost in my own fantasy cos
I couldn’t tell if I was staring at an Angel
As she seems to illuminate halo.
Her beautiful smile helped me regain my composure
And I felt thousands of butterflies Fly through my tummy
Looking back Now and that gracious day will forever remain evergreen in my memory
As a smile forms on my face when I walk past that bank,
She has gotten me literally smiling to the bank
Nice poem Sir Lateef
