ABOUT US

WELCOME TO WORDS RHYMES & RHYTHM LTD. (RC 1234112)

We are a leading Nigerian literary arts development, publishing, and educational institution. Our string of youth-targeted initiatives, implemented with a strong social-service culture, and active engagement with the Nigerian literary audience, have seen us grow into an organisation that is rapidly changing the Nigerian literature landscape. We are committed to maintaining this culture.

WORDS RHYMES & RHYTHM was founded in August 2012 by Kukogho Iruesiri Samson. It started as a Facebook-based community of writers "learning together and helping each other grow" with online classes, peer review sessions, and publications. Over the years, we have gone on to establish an imprint providing assisted-authorship publishing services at competitive rates, Authorpedia Publishers, and a literary arts journal that pays a token for accepted works, CỌ́N-SCÌÒ Magazine. The foundational culture of "helping each other grow" has remained our core strength and motivation, as we actively promote Nigerian literature and provide a support base for young Nigerian writers.

As a publishing company, we offer both traditional and self-publishing services, with a preference for emerging, previously unpublished writers. This bias towards young, previously unpublished writers, which is evident in all our operations, is one that we are proud of. We are, however, more than a publishing company. We also discover, develop, and promote young literary talents through several initiatives, including prestigious writing competitions, financial support for indigent writers, workshops, a literary festival, and other partnerships.
